  • Problem with Premiere Monitor Delay.

Posted by Marcus Pittman on May 3, 2008 at 7:45 pm

I have been having some trouble with Adobe Premiere CS3. There seems to be a delay if not a lag in the Program window.

What plays on the timeline, everything seems to jump even if renders, it seems to sort of play every frame twice or something. It’s weird.

I have tried to mess with the Premiere settings and everything. I have no clue. It makes it impossible to edit anything on it.

Is it Video Drivers or something. I edit on Windows XP. I have not had this problem in the past.

Please help me as soon as possible, I have a project due.

Any project, frame rate etc etc. It does not matter.

My computer is an AMD Athalon 64 4200+ Dual Core with 2.25 GB of Ram.

Currently I am working on a HDV Project 60i, but like I said, even doing basic 720×480 Projects leave me stuttering.

I am thinking it’s like an OpenGL issue or DirectX or something.

    Oh.

Also if I scrub it plays fine. It’s only playing within the time line and windows.
