  • Problem with power connector on HDLink

I keep having problems with intermittent power loss at the input connectors on the HDLink. The push pull connection does not seem robust enough for field use. If I do a slight wiggle on the male ‘cable’ end, the HDLink shuts down. Inspection shows that the problem is on the box/ chassis end. Any stress on the connector, bends it out of contact.
Any thoughs on how to deal with this? It is happening on both my HDLinks.

    Hi John,

I’m sorry to hear that and there shouldn’t be a problem if there if there is a slight wiggle on the cable. Can you please contact your reseller to organize an RMA with our local office in your area. Please send back both the HDLink and the power supply with both affected units. They will ultimately send it back to us so that our engineers can examine what has gone wrong but will also supply you with replacements. If you have any problems organizing the RMA, please let me know.
