    Hi All,
I have a 16 shapes that are putted in an order to make a semi-circle.
I need to animate them in a way like they are coming one by one from a bigger semi-circle to a smaller one.
I’ve putted them in a cloner object then i unchecked fix clone to keep the shape i already created and used a plain effect and made the falloff as a cylinder and animate the slice.
the problem is that the plain effect is affect the entire cloner object at the same time.. any hint?

you probably need to use the Falloff of the Plain Effector. The default ‘infinite’ means it affects everything in the cloner at the same time. Set it to Linear (probably, it will depend on the setup) and then move the effector though the cloner to get the clones to make the move (scale?) as the linear moves through them.

I already did and tried different types of falloff but it still the same :S

I also tried to changed the axis of the objects, also the same result.
I only get the effect when i check fix clone, but fix clone will re-arange my shapes which i don’t want

maybe use a radial array for the clones to setup your initial semi-circle then use a spline effector to move the clones from there to a semi-circle (but smaller radius) spline
