March 27, 2014 at 5:56 pmHello,
I know this post is old, but I am wondering if you tried this with the .veg file. This is assuming you copied the .VEG file and all related files to a local hard drive.
Since this file came from another system, I am wondering if you have to “unblock” the file before it will open correctly for you?.
I have attached a graphic showing where you would Unblock the file:
The other option is if you have older Sonic Foundry programs on your system, you may need to run the Sony Utility to make sure all the correct plug-ins get associated to the Sony Vegas Program.
I have Vegas Pro 9.0e where I am at, and the file also opened up correctly for me as well.(just missing the media files)
Hopefully one of these work for you.
