  Problem with making subtitles outline

  Hello,

  my project is done and all I have to do is add subtitles to it. I have already successfuly imported subtitles into SubCap and timed everything perfectly, so now it only comes to graphically adjusting them.

  Because some parts of the film are brighter I would like to add a basic outline on my subtitles. However when I do, I face a very frustrating problem. Some parts of the outlined text are cut off (the text within the outline is fine), such as letters Y, W… at the beggining of the row and for example j at the bottom of the row.

  I have tried various fonts and with all I face the same problem. My Box Appereance properties are:

  – Opacity: 0
  – One Box
  – Anchor To Bottom of Text
  – Anchor Center
  – Each Row as Wide As Needed
  – As Many Rows As Needed

  I am using Avid Media Composer, version 7.

  I would be more than happy if someone provided the answer to my problem.
