Problem with importing an AVI into Premiere Pro
Hi,
I’m a newbie to this so please forgive me if this is a really simple fix. I’m trying to edit a bunch of AVI’s in Premiere Pro CS4. I’m able to import them no problem and they look and sound fine when I play them in the preview screen. However, when I drag them down to the timeline and they are displayed in the far right top window (monitor window?) I’m losing half the picture. Its as if the resolution has suddenly decreased and blown up the video so I’m seeing a magnified view and losing a big portion of the edges. Hope I’ve explained that well enough. When I export, I get this same picture so it is useless to me as most of the video has been cut off.
I thought it was a setting but have looked through and can’t seem to find anything that can help me fix this.
Any ideas?

Thanks for the link. I managed to sort it out… it seems I just had to drag the frames in that window to my desired size after clicking on the video itself.
