Problem with Flash Quicktime in Final Cut Express
Could really use some help here!!!
We are using Flash movie clips (converted to Quicktime movies from Flash) in our FCXpress project.
When rendered the video looks great, the Flash animations look bitmapped. Horrible.The weird thing is that on another computer we are running tests and we are getting good results importing and rendering the Flash animations. We can’t figure out what is going on with the project files;.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What codec are your flash annimations saed in.
Can you save them in the annimation codec and then import them in to FCE and render them in a DV timeline.
What size? Resolution are the flash movies?

When exporting from Flash to Quicktime there is no codec option. We used 720X480, flatten, play all frames. We’ve tried 30 fps, 15fps, and 10 fps. Then we opened them in Quicktime Pro and saved them in high quality. no dither.
New udate: We got the animations to render clean by creating a new session. We’re newbies to FCE so is there a way to easily transfer the whoe project to a new session?
