problem with fcp 5 install
Hello all
Today we installed FCP 5 studio (upgrade) on our G5 dual system and the entire computer basically froze up and would not boot FCP and also had a major issue restarting (felt like a RAM issue or major conflict in the OS caused by FCP) We are using 10.3.9 (Latest panther) and like I said we installed the upgrade over our FCP 4.5 (as instructed to do in the FCP 5 install instructions).
Anyone have this problem or anyone have any advise as how to best fix this. We will most likely just go back to 4.5 as it worked great for a long time, not many crashes at all (like none).
Why do all the upgrades cause issues? Does anyone have any thoughts on this for us?

It would help to post your computer and software specs. System/versions/RAM, etc.
Hard to help with such limited info.
