    Hi,
I’m from Brazil and i have an serious problem when i work with a Decklink and After Effects, first my hardware is this:
    – Mainboard Intel D875PBZ
    – Process. P4 3.2GHz
    – 2GB memory
    – Video Matrox G550 32MB
    – Storage SATA 80GB

Well, i want know if this hardware is compatible with the Decklink?

    The problem is this:
When i open the AE and open any video and press play or put an effect (fast blur for an example)the AE did not answer anymore, constraint, i have to restart the application, and always when i do this operation i have the same problem!!! It seems that my system is compatible just with the Premiere Pro, because the Premiere work fine!

    What can i do?

    Thanks.

The Matrox and the Decklink could be not as compatible it should be. But if the g550 is certified with DeckLink (I didn’t check it on BMD’s website), you could fiddle with the openGL settings in AE’s preferences. Disable all openGL acceleration at first to find out if it improves the stability.

Give it a try, and maybe someone with a g550 will be online soon to help you with the troubleshooting.

    Chhers, Lars
