    Hi everyone,

    I am experiencing a little but quite annoying problem when adding comments on an expression in CS4.

    Whatever the type of comments I use (either // … or /* … */), AE disables my expression, returning the following error:

    Even with a simple line of text like:
    //Test

    Has anyone ever had the same issue ?
    Am I missing something ?

    (AE is up-to-date)

    Thanks,
    m

    Ok I dealed with two different syntax problems.

    first, if I just tested the comments with a simple line like
    //test
    I was having an error until I just wrote any expression into the parameter.

    What brought me to test it, was another expression for which I had the same problem.
    This one was long and I couldn’t find where my error was.

    Actually, I was commenting it like I am used to in javascript.

    I had comments at the end of some lines, which AE obviously doesn’t understand
    posX=transform.position[0]-sX*width/2; //arete de gauche
    posX1=transform.position[0]+sX*width/2; //arete de droite
    posY=transform.position[1]-sY*height/2; //arete du haut
    posY1=transform.position[1]+sY*height/2; //arete du bas

    However, th expression worked fine in CS3, even with the comments at the end of the lines.

    I just tested some comments of the format that you’re talking about, and they work fine for me.

    If you continue to see a problem, please file a bug.
