Problem with CINEWARE(Cinema4D effect panel) in After Effect.
Hi every body.
I am using After Effect CC 2015 (Version 13.5.0.347) and Cinema 4D R17.048; I run into the following error when I start to create a c4d file inside After Effects(using Layer/New/Maxon Cinema4D file), worked on it in Cinema 4d and saved there(I made a 3d text with material on it).The error:
“This project was originally saved with R16.001
Previous versions may no longer be able to load this project
Do you want to proceed?”I’ve simply accepted to proceed; but the CINEWARE in Effects Contol panel in After Effects did not show my 3D object made by Cinema4D.
what should I do? Any solution?Thank you for your attention.

try updating you c4d lite (launch c4d lite, then help>check for updates). it doesn’t update automatically with the adobe cloud updates…
the latest version is r16.038

Thanks kevin for responding.
I noticed that I’ve worked with a practice file made on macintosh system and my AE on windows platform converted the file and that probabely made the problem. I created a new file in AE and made a C4d file. This time when I went back to AE, cineware worked although with the previously mentioned error.I think I should update my C4d as you mention to get rid of the error.

Sorry Mohamamad, I had misread your original post, and was think you were using C4D Lite (that ships with recent versions of AE).
Since you are using C4D r17, updating the C4D lite (r16) probably won’t have any effect on your issue.
You might look at updating the Cineware plugin…
Since I don’t have the full version of C4D r17, i can’t really try anything to give you other suggestions.
