Problem with changing points
Hi there,
I’ve been working on an illustration using Illustrator CS1.
Anyway the problem I’m having is that the I can’t seam to select points now using the direct select tool which I have been doing till now. I have noticed that the path has now turned red, I’m not sure but maybe that has something to do with it.

Your path turning red most likely signifies that your item is on a 2nd layer. By default when you create a new layer it is red for the 2nd layer in your layer palette.
I would take a look at your appearance palette with the item selected, and that should give you a hint as to why this is not acting like a path and allowing you to use a direct select tool.
