Problem with certain MXF with DaVinci
Hello,
We’re having some trouble with some MXF files in Da Vinci.
This is our workflow:
– The footage was shot at 23.98fps on Sony FS7s
– We’re editing and creating the EDL in Premiere Pro
– But when we go into color correction, certain clips come up as “too short” in Da Vinci, although they show up fine in Premiere.Let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions, we’re trying to figure this out, it’s a bit of a conundrum!
Or if you know anyone in NYC who’s a codec/compatibility doctor, let me know.Thanks!

ignore the edl
in the media page, find the original clip and bring it in. Is it really 23.98?
Does it have the timecode sections you need for your timeline?Is this a spanned clip issue?
