Problem with capturing audio
I’m experiencing some problems while capturing. The audio is distorted, sounding almost like a robot voice, when I’m playing back. If I click out, though, and let the audio run with no video playing on the desktop, it sounds fine. I’m running Avid Xpress Pro on a G4 and importing from a Beta deck. Any ideas? Thanks.

From the sketchy description it “sounds like” you might have a feedback loop somewhere along the path. What happens if you disconnect the audio that runs from the Avid’s audio output to the deck’s audio input (assuming your’re wired that way).or turn the Record level controls down all the way?
