Problem with capture
All of a sudden, when I go to capture (choosing any of the three options) I get an error message saying “file error:unknown file.” Any ideas how to fix this problem? I am unable up capture footage. I have never had a problem trying to capture before. Thanks.

trash your fcp preferences (search here on how to do this), restart your machine, double check all of your capture settings. Hope this works.
