Hello. Good day. I’ve just registered here because I need some help, seriously, about Cinema4D.

I was creating a new file.
I followed the tutorial correctly though,
but when I preview-render it, it turned out like this –

Then when I opened the project file of the tutorial,
    it seems everything is fine

It happens everytime I add Bump to the material,
As you can see on the first image, there’s an unwanted pixels,
like big square, solid colors, etc, unlike to the second image.
I don’t know why. Anyone, please help me.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

If you are referring to the face of the text object not having bumping on your version you might try adjusting the projection in the texture tag options (attributes manager bottom right as you have it set up). More than likely you have UVW mapping set (the default setting). Try a few of the different settings (more than likely spacial or cubic). It does not look like you have made the object editable, which can sometimes (in various situations) cause “issues” with material settings.

    Good day sir…

There are two materials in the original project whereas there is only one in yours. Maybe that?

    Poor english…
