  • Problem with Batch-Capture (In-/Out-Points different)

    Hi all,

I made a video with Premiere 6.5 and opened it with Premiere Pro so it
was converted automatically. I finished the project and saved it. After
that the according AVI-files were accidently deleted. So I captured
    them again using the batch-capture.
The problem now is the clips in the timeline are not showing the same
content as before. It seems like all In- and Out-Points have slightly
    changed (perhaps 2 secs).

Any suggestions? Is this a known bug?
    Thank you for your help!

Shot in the dark, but maybe the amount of head & tail space on the clips has changed between project versions.

Try the following: open the Capture interface, and in the ‘Logging’ pane to the right, try and set the ‘Handles’ amount to 30 frames – that should create 1 second of extra footage at the head & tail of a clip. Then recapture one of your clips & see if that fixes the issue.

    Hi,

thanks for your good advise. but this is not whats causing trouble.
I just imported my old PBL-file from 6.0 in Premiere Pro and was shocked. The media start and media end times were different from the times in my actual project. Seems like the import of the old project file was buggy. So I will try now to recapture all AVIs with my old batch list and replace the new captured files. Hope this won’t cause any more trouble.

    Thanks nevertheless!
