Problem with Avid Mojo
Hi there,
I’m running Avid Media Composer v4.0.5 and for some reason whenever I have my Mojo (analogue) connected an error message saying ‘cannot initialize audio device’ comes up and I can go no further. If, however, I disconnect the Mojo then it runs fine. I’ve restarted the machine and power cycled the Mojo but to no avail. Any ideas?
I’m running on an 8 core Intel Mac Pro with 20GB Ram, Avid MC v4.0.5, QT 7.6.4. There are no other firewire devices connected to my MAC either.

Has your Mojo ever worked with this configuration? I seem to remember at some point the analog version of the Mojo wasn’t supported?

Hi Jon,
It did used to work, yes. I’m just not sure why it’s suddenly coming up with this error message.
