Problem when trying to convert stroke effect into a null object position.
French here, so I might have made a small amount of writing mistake, sorry…

Hi all,
I’m trying to create a logo reveal using the stroke effect. So I created my logo using a mask, than add and animate a stroke effect. But I also want a flare at the end of my stroke while the logo outline is revealing itself. So I create a null object, I go on my mask path, copy it and paste it on my null objects position. This create the right animation for my null object, but the sizing is wrong and I can’t influence it. Does anyone knows what’ I’m doing wrong ?

the mask needs to be on a layer that is the same size as the composition at 100% scale. so you might have to re draw it on another layer.

Scaling the layer results in that problem. You can fix it though: Create a new null object, parent your current null that follows path to it and scale the parent null. Once the right size you can unparent and remove the extra null.
