Ok i got this problem since the last couples of weeks.

When i’m done with my files in InDesign, i export my files to mak .EPS (with file, export). After i open Adobe Distiller and drag all my .EPS in Distiller to create .PDF but the program tell me that the files is being used by another program. The thing is i tried to close this computer and try again on another one and it still tell me the same error message.

The only solution i found is to make copy and copy of my files until i finally get to convert it to PDF.

Its pretty frustrating getting this error every week so, if you have any ideas what can cause it, please reply me. Thank you!

Can you use File >> Adobe PDF Presets >> instead?

If your on a mac try running the applications >> Utiliteis >> disk utility to repair permissions.

How about if you print ot a .ps file and try to distill the .ps rather than an .eps.
