problem w/ Mac unInstall
Yes I’m behind the curve but I want to upgrade an old version of MC (2.7) to 3.1.3 on a year old MacBook (10.6)and am not able to get the Media ComposerUninstaller (1.8) to work. It says “uninstall failed”
Yes I could use AppDelete but thought I’d try to go the official Avid route first. I don’t see where I can download a newer version of Media ComposerUninstaller. I don’t feel confident about manually uninstalling Avid nor do I see an uninstall option within the actual 3.1.3 Installer. Suggestions very welcome.

thanks Matthew, the Uninstaller on the orig MC 2.5 dvd will run but doesn’t do the job (some files/folders couldn’t be deleted…) I was running 2.7 which the link says use the Uninstaller. Wish I could get a newer version of the Uninstaller. Not keen on the manual route described as that is for 2.5 and earlier
