  • Problem viewing P2 files.

Posted by Willem Klok on May 22, 2009 at 8:36 pm

A while back I did a shoot with 2 hvx camera’s. I copied the data from the p2 cards as follows:
Willem_slot1 -> morning -> content card, Willem_slot2->morning -> content card, Willem_slot1 -> afternoon -> content card, etc. All these directories are located in one big directory called Shoot_day1.

So 1 directory with material from cam1, slot1, and a directory for each card I used. – 1 directory for cam1 and slot2 – and the same for cam2.

Ok when I set P2CMS to load directory Shoot_day1 it only loads the files in the first two directories of camera1 (slot1 card) and the files in the first directory of Camera2 material. It reads all the other files but doesnt show/load them.

Same goes for FCP6 log and transfer..same problem.

I checked if the file structure within the diffrent dir’s were ok and the are.
I tried importing the mxf files (that won’t show up before) directly in fcp..and it show the video..without sound.

What am I doing wrong? Help.
