  • Problem understanding keyframe interpolation

I’m doing a lot of precise moves on still images using keyframes, and I can’t seem to get a combination of ease out of the first position and ease in to the second. I can get a very nice ease in OR ease out, but whenever I change the interpolation for one keyframe (e.g. to ease in), it automatically changes the previous keyframe interpolation as well (e.g. to ease in as well, even though the previous keyframe had been set to ease out). Any ideas what I’m missing? Thanks.

Keyframes in Motion work on the curves between points, it’s a little different than AE – so if you want the current point to have an ease in, you actually need to select the previous point and choose ease in. Think of it as always working forwards from the selected keyframe, never backwards.
