Problem rendering
I am working on a 5 minute training video for work (my first one for them and its due practically today), have finished it (I thought) and exported for DVD Pro. Simulation showed up as choppy. Back in Final Cut I noticed on export, only on export, that red bands showed up in the timeline indicating that it had not rendered.
I can’t get it to render. When I hit Option R, the render screen flashes briefly and I can see 0% flash. I have have not rendered along the way, because I didn’t get green bands in the timeline prompting me to do so (stupid thing number one, I’m sure). The only time I got green bands were at the front of the sequence where I have a nested video and text layered. I rendered along the way there and that was the last thing I did in finishing the project – I would have thought that would have been rendering everything.
I have tried putting the job on a different drive, have checked most of the Sequence Render choices. What do you think? It sure would be nice if I could get this video out on time and in good shape.

Have you tried checking ALL of the render choices? If not try that.
