    Hi all,

I’m having problem rendering in Vegas Pro 9 when using magic bullet looks 1.2. I didn’t have this problem before it started about the same time
I installed 9.0c. Anyway I contact Red giant they told me to try this:

    1. If you are using another GPU based program, please disable when using the product. This includes, but is not limited to applications from your
video card maker. (i.e. ObjectDock application and Nvidia nView Desktop manager, ect..)

    2. Please be sure your video card drives are up to date. If so, then please try reverting back 3-4 driver versions to see if this solves your issue.

    3. Be sure that you are not exceeding the resolution limit of your video card with your project.

    4. There may also be a program running in the background that is conflicting with the plug-in. Please perform a clean boot of your system. For instructions
from Microsoft, please refer to: https://support.microsoft.com/kb/331796

5.Then open a brand new (non-existing) project in Vegas and apply Looks to 720×480 footage and render.
    video card)

Tried it all didn’t work. I reinstalled WinXP pro SP2 with only the important windows update before adding adding the video card and latest driver.
(Radeon HD 4870 1GB 256-bit GDDRS PCI express 2.0 x16) No firewall or virus scan software. I tride different settings within the Catalyst control
center and ATI overdrive settings but nothing worked. If I don’t use Magic bullet looks it renders fine if I try a look any look within magic bullet
looks it will start rendering but when it gets to around 17% it hangs. I’ve tried different projects. When it doesn’t hang I get “the system is low
on memory” error message. I have tried a different graphic card and it worked like a charm so my guess is it has something to do with the graphic card.
It got the Radeon 4870 back in June and it’s been working fine under Vegas Pro 9.0a/b. I have tried older drivers but that didn’t help. I’ve been to
the Vegas 9 Pro, Radeon and MBL’s troubleshooting section and have tried everything suggested but still doesn’t work. I’m wondering if maybe the card
might be defective. I’ve downloaded and ran the video card stability check and the ATItool utility. Both test came out fine. I’ve also disable startups
and programs running in the background. Any suggestions?

I’m having the exact same problem, was ok with 8c. I’ve given up using MB till i find a solution.

Problem solved it was a graphic card driver issue. I tried 3 legacy drivers and the oldest one worked.
