Problem Rendering Still Photos in FCP
I am having a very aggravating problem. I am making an “audio slideshow” combining audio tracks and still images in Final Cut. I have done several of these with no problems but now if I import a sequence of 10 or so images (sort of like an animation of sequential photos shot at a regular rate over a small period of time to show motion) the entire sequence of photos plays back in the time it takes for the playback cursor to move over only the first few frames. The rest of the frames just playback as black. It is fine until I render so it must be something in the render that is causing this error.

What are the sequence settings? Tells us more details about the images: how large? JPG, TIFF, PICT? Are they RGB?

They are RGB, 2160 x 720 @ 72dpi. My sequence is HDV – 720p30, Field Dominance set to none, Frame size 1080 x 360. I have done these before and they have worked fine. It doesnt seem like the settings are off or the images are sized wrong because the images play fine, its just that all the images in a 30 second sequence play during the first 10 seconds and the rest is all black.
