Problem Relinking Files
Here’s the deal: I’m running Symphony 5.0.5 and have been having media management and hard drive problems from day 1. About a week ago, an AE consolidated all of the media off of our striped drives into a new drive, coming to about 500 GB. These were never relinked after doing so, and others have consolidated since. Now I’m sure we have cloned media, but I don’t know how to track them down, or to confirm which of the original 500 GB belongs to current projects. How would I go about doing this?

at this point, you are best off throwing your omfo folder away and batching what is needed. It’s not always possible (seldom, actually) but is the fool proff way to get online just what needs to be.
Relinking has always been buggy. I found I was waisting more time and money wrestling with it than what I was saving in using it.
