I installed 7.0d at home to catch up on some projects. Having a problem getting Vegas to see Quicktime video.

I ripped video from two DVDs using Cinematizer. Two HS football games. I need to make a highlight reel.

When I plop the QT files on the timeline…I get audio but no video. FWIW…my Jumpbacks (also QT) play just fine in Vegas. Also, the football clips play fine in the QT window…so I’m not sure its a codec problem. I’m using QT 7.0.

    What could be wrong?

Rip the DVDs directly with Vegas. File > Import > DVD camcorder disc.

Thanks Gary…this method usually doesn’t work for me…but it DID work on this machine with the fresh install of 7.0D. So on my main machine I upgraded to 7.0d (thinking it must be a fix in the new build) but that machine still will not capture using the capture camcorder DVD routine.

    I don’t get it….
