Problem outputting to tape
Please help.
I am having an issue printing to tape. I set up the camera through firewire, and it is recognized. After the timeline renders Vegas shuts down (and disappears). Then the camera starts recording, but their is no signal going to the camera. Just black. I set up the record to ‘crash record’ and to record manually, and each time, I get the same result. -

Could the problem be related to the camera going to “sleep” while waiting for the rendering to finish?

Hi.
No, the camera stays on no matter what. I have never had this issue before. I thought it was odd that Vegas shuts down after the render when it comes time to output. Although, the camera does start recording, but only black. I did just re-install windows and the updated version 6 software. Maybe something happened during the install?
