Problem opening FCP 4.5
Hi there,
I’m running FCP 4.5 on a Powermac G5 with OS X 10.3.7.
I’ve been using it successfully for about a year until today. Whenever I open FCP from my dock, it gives me the opening title splash screen, but then sticks on that and doesn’t do anything else. The dock says the Application isn’t responding so I have to force quit.
I’ve restarted multiple times, I’ve reset the P-RAM, I’ve done disk utility and repaired permissions on the hard drive the software sits on, and still nothing is fixed. Any ideas?

Have you trashed FCP prefs? If not, try that.
