problem of rendering with stills and premiere pro 2.0
Hi,
I’m working on a small edit with only high res stills (4000×4000 pix), moves, fades and titles. When rendering only 3 minutes, I noticed an amazing calculating time with ppro 2.0 : over 1 hour. With ppro 1.5, it used to take 10/15 minutes for the same kind of edit. So I made some tests. I put a 4000×4000 pix still on the timeline for a duration of 5 sec. Then I made some fades in/out and added a title over.
I noticed everything is fine in the rendering till I change the scale of the still:
as long as the scale of the image remains over 50%, the rendering time is ok (around 5 sec). Since I go under or equal to 50 % the calculating time becomes crazy (more than 4 minutes). What’s the problem with ppro 2.0 ? I hoped that the stills problems of ppro 1.5 (green screen, freeze, etc.) were fixed. It seems it is not.Could someone else confirm the result of the test with high res still ? Thanks.
