I’ve encountered a strange problem. I am trying to mix on the fly. It works well in one project and not at all in another. When I use the audio mixer, I’ve tried changing the settings to Off, Latch, Touch and Write. When I mix, I hear the level change, but when I go back, nothing is different. Are one of my audio conforms corrupted? I tried making a duplicate of the sequence, but that doesn’t do it.

    I’m running PPro 2. Thanks!

I too am having “mixing on the fly” problems. This is a tough one. Keyframes seem to just build up to where there are dozens of them on any clip I have tried to mix. Sometimes things are remembered but only for a while. Some clips are far worse then others – never accepting my directions at all.

    Any solutions?

I was annoyed by a similar problem, until I figured out, that if you have an IN and OUT point set, the mixing only gets remembered between the two points. So….remove the IN/OUT points. May it helps.
