problem in mocha paste tracking data with after effects
Hi everybody.
I’m experiencing an issue with pasting tracking data from mocha to AE.
I’m trying to track a simple, short video I recorded with my phone, it’s 30 fps. Mocha is able to do the tracking (I made a plane on the wall in front of the camera, tracking that, again, very simple scene)
and when I try to pase the tracking data, the option is greyed out. I’ve already tried all the things I’ve read it in this and other forums about experiencing this issue (very common), but nothing worked so far…and…I’m going crazy.
Anyone colud help me, please?P.S. fps are the same in AE and Mocha, and if I paste with cmd+V the data in a null objet it does work, so the paste function works, but not in the track data.
I’m guessing is a AE problem? Oh, and it does the same with every video (I tried with other 2 videos)

This was an older problem that we used to see on Windows systems, but has been resolved for a long time.
You can try to save the track data to an external file, than either open that and copy to the clipboard before pasting OR try mochaImport+ script. https://mamoworld.com/tools/mochaimport
But a 3rd party tool is not necessary.

I’ve already tried the mocha import plugin and it always give me this error:

Are you sure you are selecting export tracking (and not shape?).
