The “stop” button on the remote stops the playback of the disc in DVD players.

There are a few things you can do:

When you click on the button to play the video, the button has an option on what to do upon completion. On the page with the video, double-click on the video. In the “media properties” window on the right, click on the “end action” button. Select what you want it to do. “Stop” is probably selected. You might try setting it to “link” or something else. Note that these only come into play when the selected video completes.

The other thing is in those properties try clicking on “remote buttons”. You’ll see “stop”. Turn it “off” so a user can’t hit the stop button to stop playback. To return to a menu, it’s the “Menu” button that should be used.
