  Problem importing a scan directly into Photoshop CS

  I’m in the process changing over from my old G4 running OS10.3.8 to my new G5 running Tiger. I’m having problems getting scans into Photoshop (CS) with my old Agfa scanner. I downloaded the OSX drivers and installed them. They worked great on the old G4. On the new G5, I can scan manually just fine. It will save the scan to the selected folder. If I try to use the twain import within Photoshop, however, I get an error message from Photoshop: “Could not complete the Import command because of a program error.”
  I have everything setup the same as on the old computer (I think), but I get this error message everytime. Any ideas? Could it be that the drivers or Photoshop itself are not compatable with Tiger or did I just miss something basic?
