Problem Import Clips that have been exported
Hi, I am working in DaVinci 18.5. After editing some of the film I have exported clips in MP4, MXF and other formats/codecs. When I want to import this clips back as footage, it doesn`t work. DaVinci is not importing it. My project is in 25fps , some of the clips are 24 or 30 fps. Within DaVinci I tried to copy/paste via “Dynamic Project Switching” from one projects timeline the scene into the other projects timeline but when pasted it shows the footage as MEDIA OFFLINE. Would appreciate any help and suggestions. Thank you

Davinci Resolve Free has some limitations about the kind of clips it can import. For example, some 10-bit file types, MP4 or MXF do not open in Resolve Free. You can import them but they show the ‘Media Offline’ screen when played.
In case you’re using Resolve Studio for the export and the Resolve Free for the import, then this what you describe, is likely. If you’re using Resolve Studio for both, then this is very unusual.
