  • Problem finding a render template in VP11.0

I recently switched from Sony Vegas 10.0 to 11.0–the most recent version.
In Sony Vegas 10.0 under the Sony AVC/MVC templates there is one called: Internet 1920x1080p 30p and a few other ‘internet’ settings under that general template.

In Sony Vegas 11.0 i can’t find any of the ‘internet’ templates under the Sony AVC/MVC general template. Is there are reason for this? have they been moved to a different place in the render options?

I don’t have 11 on my home machine but I believe they were moved to to the MainConcept template.

Thanks. You are correct that it is under the Mainconcept template–I had already managed to navigate there but when i tried to render i kept getting ‘there was an error encoding xyz.mp4, reason for error could not be determined’…
After some trial and error with the settings I discovered I had to change the setting at the bottom related to ‘encoding’ from ‘automatic’ to CPU Only… now it works fine.

Mike is correct, Main Concept “Internet HD 1080p”.

For me upgrading from VP 10 to 11, this was a step backwards. I could never get the VP 11 template to perform quite as well as VP 10. In fact, I still use VP 10 at times. Sometimes the VP 11 is satisfactory for my needs.

I have solved the problem by Updating the driver on the Nvidia graphics card. Now I can leave the ‘encode’ on automatic and its fine.
Does anyone know anything about the ‘deblocking filter’ ?
When I use the Mainconcept AVC i see that it is checked and that a value of ‘1’ is there as default.
In V10 the mainconcept seems to have a value of ‘2’… does this matter…? what is best setting regarding this and is ‘checking’ or enabling it important?
    thanks
