Hi, I am trying to have text fading on word-by-word using Motext and Plain effector.

The following tutorial show the effects I want but the text was faded on letter-by-letter.

I used the same set up and drag the effector to the word section in MoText Attribute but it didn’t work.

Can anyone tell me what have I done wrong? Much appreciated.

Looks like a bug to me.

    I’d post it here:

Yep, it is a bug — confirmed by Maxon US. I reported it about six months ago but additional reports might help push it up the to-do list.

Thanks for the reply. Too bad they haven’t fix it in six months.

    🙁

you could achieve the word effect by making the Motext editable and putting each word group in a Fracture object then applying the effector to that. Assuming you don’t have hundreds of words…
