Problem Expoting Timeline
Hello everyone I am having a problem exporting my project I am an editor based in Mexico City I`ll try to explain my problem in English the best I can
I am making an interactive disc for a restaurant chain in Mexico using FCP2, I used a Canon hv10 and hv20 (HD1080i)cameras to do it, shot on HD format, I made a platform that spins at 5rpm where you can set a plate or dish with the food you want to shoot, the final destination for this project is a very compatible interactive DVD so I am working with flash for interactivity and I intent to make FLV files after post-production, when I captured the footage I switched the camera to dv output so I could get an sd format to capture since the DVD is intent to be SD so it could be run in most computers and fit on a regular DVD 4.8gb, the capture went fine the footage looks really good in the timeline, but when I export the footage only the sections where the plate is spinning it looks like it is missing frames or jumping, on the timeline looks very smooth when spinning but once I export I get this problem, funny it only happens when the plate is spinning if there is any other action looks fine. The timeline properties are:
SIZE: 720 x 480 VID RATE: 29,97 fps COMPRESOR: dv/dvcpro – NTSC PIXEL ASPECT: NTSC- CCIR601 ANAMORPHIC FIELD DOMINANCE: LOWER EVEN
I tried many diffent settings to export using quick time conversion or compressor, the best I got is using quick time conversion using:
H.264 (I need a light file in order to fit in the disc but good quality)
720 x 405 or 720 x 480 or Current
Reordering Key Frames (Off)
Deinterlace video yes (only with this option I get the jagged lines off)
Best Quality mode
The frame rate is set to 60 because if I use current or other the problem gets more agresive an the jumping is worse i don´t know whyHere is a still image of the footage so you get a better idea of how it looks I will upload a video if is necessary.
I will appreciate any advice and help on this issue, I hope my writting is understandable.
Regards
Pedro Dabbah
