Hi there, I am trying to export an AEC file from C4D because nulls are not appearing when I use Cineware (just camera). I’m finding that this isn’t working either, but it has revealed that C4D may be the cause. When I open the AEC file in a text editor, I see there is absolutely no data about the nulls so AE never stood a chance of receiving it.

I am adding compositing tags to my nulls. I am using R20 Studio. Any help would be appreciated.

UPDATE: I was using the wrong tag. Was using Compositing instead of External Compositing 😉

Try instead of null-object to use “Light” (checkbox “No illumination” enabled)
