I have a sequence that i want to export as a mv2 file to bring to dvd studio pro. However, when i go to “export/using quicktime conversion” and change the settings from quicktime move to mpeg2 video and try to save, i get a message that says that i have to render the sequence before i can export it. The problem is that the sequence is completely rendered, and even when i go in and re-render it it still can’t export. Any ideas on a quick fix? right now i’m just exporting as a quicktime movie, bringing that into final cut pro, and then exporting as a mv2 file, which takes forever.

Make sure your Render All settings are ALL checked under the Sequence menu.

Maybe try using Export>Using Compressor instead?
