    Problem Displaying Waveforms on Timeline in Davinci Resolve 12

    I recently installed the lite version of Davinci Resolve 12. The install was uneventful and was able to successfully create a project, load clips into the Media Pool and drag-drop the clips onto a timeline.
    After making certain that the “Show Audio Waveforms” box in the Edit page was checked, I noticed that the waveforms were not displayed. I then closed the projects, uninstalled the Davinchi Resolve 12 software and reinstalled it. Despite these steps, the waveforms still will not display. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Can you please make sure you have write access in the folder configured for render cache. It’s under the first configured volume in Media Storage in Preferences.
