problem capturing with vegas 6
i have captured 4:3 dv from a panasonic dvc60 camera but the preview
window, and avi frames in the veg file both appear stretched as though
they are in widescreen.project template selected is ntsc dv, with .9091 pixel aspect ratio,
lower field first, and no interlacing.can anyone tell me what i am missing. along with this, is there a
tutorial or other resource which addresses all the choices to be made
when capturing and displaying video. thanks for any auidance. -

Try right clicking in the preview window and selcting simulate device aspect ratio. Danny Hays
