    Hi All !

well, i’m doing my first Tiger/FCP Studio/PMG5 2.7MHz- 2.5GB RAm/Atto/SCSI Raid ( this is not huge raid but i tried with a pretty full huge raid system and i got ze beach ball ! 🙁 )
( did heaps under Panther ) with great success.

All is well after doing 10.4.1 then Quicktime 70.1, Latest Atto,
FCP Studio then BM drivers. I mean i can play back raid speed is where it should be.

But i did a capture today 10 Bit or 8 Bit and i noticed that the video in the capture window
would do so kind of freeze frame then the video would look ok, then steppy then frezze frame
and eventually i would get a dropped frame message. Tried many times same results.

I did the usual stuff ( trashing pref, reinstalling Atto drivers…. ) no joy.

So i tried to capture to the internal Sata, no problem at all.

So i thought it could be the Raid although the reat shows 220MB and the write is 160MB !
I hook up a back up system with 10.3.8 and it worked great… look like a Tiger Problem.

    HAs anyone seen this issue?

    any help would be appreciated.

(BTW i swapped the Atto card as well)

maybe some one has a old version which should do the trick.

    Regards
