  problem capturing from canon xha1 with firewire(Mac pro)

  well im so new to avid MC,and im trying to capture video from my canon xha1.When i go to the capture tool the video source tab is blank no firewire but the audio is showing my Host-1394.and when choosing project resolution i dont see any extra options accept for “apple pro res 4444” Does anyone know why this is happening?, how do i get avid to both video and sound? Please help1
