  • Problem capturing from Batch List

I have imported a Batch List into Premiere to capture from. When I right-click on a clip in my bin and choose “Batch Capture” Premiere first prompts to “override capture settings”, then request to load the proper reel. (Fine so far). The problem is that instead of caturing the 60-second clip, Premiere will cue the tape to the in-point and then immediately display “batch capture completed” without actually capturing anything.
Premire does, at least, display the in-and-out points in the capture window so that I can select the “capture in to out” button and that works just fine for that clip. Except that a.) I now have the same clip in my bin twice [one with media and one without] and b.) I have about 70 more clips to capture and doing this for each one is incredibly time consuming.

Does anyone know why the batch capture is not doing what it is supposed to? Any help is much appreciated.
