Problem! Beginner
Help! I have seen many tutorials on rendering as a mov or quicktime and they all have a format option in render settings but i dont seem to have that! All my render settings say in save is Depth and Alpha Channel!

Is it possible you’ve selected a Quicktime image format selected? These have different options than quicktime mov
Quicktime movie is towards the bottom of the list. This will give you options to the right such as compression type.Mike

If you haven’t sorted out this issue yet post a screenshot of your render setting’s “Save” window. If you really only have “Depth” and “Alpha Channel” showing it sounds like something is corrupted, and maybe a reinstall is in order. On the other hand, if the “Options” button next to the Format selector is simply greyed-out you need to check the “Save” checkbox above the “File” window.
