Problem batch Digitizing from dbeta deck to MOjo SDI Media Composer 2.6.1 on PC
Need Help,
Trying to batch digitize from dbeta deck in SDI to Media Composer 2.6.1 w/mojo sdi on a pc. It will start to digitize a clip then stop after about 10 seconds and the digitizing tool will revert back to composite from sdi. We worked around it by digitizing individual clips but that takes forever and we have lots to do and a deadline looming. I am not an editor or tech I am a producer looking for a solution. Be as specific and technical as you can be I will hand the suggestions over to the editor.

That is rather bizarre behavior for the Avid to do in capture mode. Tell the editor to go to the Settings folder, delete MC State, Site Settings, and Site Attributes. In the project folder, delete the project settings file (.avs). When the editor restarts Avid, try making a new User Profile. It would be a good idea to also delete the 2 media database files on every media drive (.mdb & .pmr).
This takes care of lots of unexplained craziness.
