Hi, I’ve just begun my path with Avid, and for a beginner I have a silly question:

How do you delete in and out points? I’ve searched google and there’s nothing about it (maybe beacuse no one belives anyone would ask something like this)

    Thank you for your time.

The default to clear just the In point is D, clear just the Out point is F, and clear both is G.

Go to Settings then find “Keyboard” and double click on it. That will open up a keyboard on screen that shows you what functions are mapped to what keys.

    Thank you both.
You just prove how silly that question is, but I gotta start somewhere.

[Tal Benziman] ” I gotta start somewhere”

Best place to start is with the User Guide. Not only will it explain simple things like this (quicker than any forum) but it will whet your appetite for learning.
You can have it open while Media Composer is open and you’ll become a power-user in no time.
    Enjoy!

I know it often seems like a case of RTFM (read the f__king manual), but in the case of Avid, the app help is actually very good and very comprehensive. Much better than some other apps. Premiere is particularly bad, IMHO.
