Yup…good catch. An FCP update that isn’t labelled as such…

    https://www.apple.com/support/releasenotes/en/Final_Cut_Studio_2.0_rn/

Addresses the FILE TOO NEW issue, and Multicam Sync lost upon reconnection of media. And the snapping issues.

I don’t see anything about the snapping issues. Nice the new project bug was fixed.

    All the best,

Oh…sorry. I just noticed the snapping acting properly now. Hmm…not in the notes.

It doesn’t seem this update is available as a download yet, only via Software Update.

No updates showing here. Is this only if FC Server is installed?

A buddy here installed it on his laptop…guy just automatically updates whenever he can. Bleeding edge guy that he is.

Snapping seemed to have returned to the pre “holding the option key” behavior…At least according to him. He whooped. I never had an issue with it. I like the fact that I can temporarily turn snapping on or off when I am in the middle of clicking things, but I think the OPTION key hold was pretty annoying.
