ProApp updates after installing FC Server …
Posted by Paul Figgiani on April 10, 2008 at 8:51 pmI just installed FC Server. I ran Software Update and a ProApps Update appeared.
Looks like FCP 6.0.3, Compressor 3.0.3, Apple HDV Codec 1.4, and Plugin Manager 1.7.3.

April 10, 2008 at 8:59 pmYup…good catch. An FCP update that isn’t labelled as such…

Addresses the FILE TOO NEW issue, and Multicam Sync lost upon reconnection of media. And the snapping issues.

April 10, 2008 at 9:17 pmI don’t see anything about the snapping issues. Nice the new project bug was fixed.
All the best,

April 10, 2008 at 9:24 pmIt doesn’t seem this update is available as a download yet, only via Software Update.

April 10, 2008 at 9:34 pmNo updates showing here. Is this only if FC Server is installed?

April 10, 2008 at 10:19 pmA buddy here installed it on his laptop…guy just automatically updates whenever he can. Bleeding edge guy that he is.
Snapping seemed to have returned to the pre “holding the option key” behavior…At least according to him. He whooped. I never had an issue with it. I like the fact that I can temporarily turn snapping on or off when I am in the middle of clicking things, but I think the OPTION key hold was pretty annoying.
